Well there isn't really a reliable source for free music downloads and it is illegal since the artists don't get paid for their work.  The best, and cheapest way to get music downloads is through MP3Lingo.com.  They offer unlimited music downloads for only a few bucks a month.  It's much cheaper than any other site I've came across and they are 100% legal.  They also have just about every song in every genre.  Check them out at www.mp3lingo.com when you get a chance.

hey if you want to protect you laptop then i won't recommend you to go for free program. i have been using the music downloading site called kptunes and i also have laptop and i am very curious about catching viruses but since i have kptunes installed on my laptop then i don't have to worry about those stuff because kptunes is free from all the viruses or spyware. if you want to download music safely then try using http://www.kptunes.com where you will always find the good quality music and download onto your laptop and then uploaded or put it on your website.

I'm not quite sure why your asking in a public forum, for advice to download illegal materials. If you do not own a license to a song, and you download it, you have committed a criminal offense that is punishable with jail or prison time.

Use iTunes to dowload music legally, or go to the store and buy the CD.

Please dont use limewire. It just opens the doors for viruses, spyware, keyloggers, spam, etc...As well as allowing you to commit criminal offences.

You can use Peer-to-Peer Programs.  There are two main types, Gnutella and Torrent.  I recommend Gnutella programs like Cabos and Frostwire.  Torrents are also good, especially uTorrent.
