  1. The one times jeans are not good at all, the others are right they are too bulky, they will get wet and heavy when you sweat, I love the new thin layed type....the links below will give you a good idea and the are great...

  2. Noooooo.  Do not wear jeans, at all, when you are going skiing.  If they get wet you'll be freezing.  Some nice polypropollne long johns are the way to go under your ski pants.  If you don't have good long johns then I recommend a comfortable fitting pair of sweat pants.  Make sure you movement is not restricted at all.  Good socks are key too, no baggy socks that bunch up in your shoes.  Wear warm, close fitting socks, no cotton.

  3. Nothing with cotton...No jeans until you have ended the day, spent time in the hot tub drinking a beer and have showered.

Polypropelene or wool long underwear under your ski pants. Same goes for the top...The base layer should not be cotton. Socks should also be polypro or wool (I recommend Smartwool brand...The best!).

    Have fun!

  4. No, don't wear jeans; they will just be bulky and will get all wet from your sweat.  You don't typically wear anything under ski pants, but if you want to add a layer, look for light-weight long underwear made of silk, or polypropylene, wool, or other heavier fibers for super cold days.  Skiing is a very strenuous sport, so you will be surprised how hot you get.  On top, wear layers that can be easily taken off when you start getting hot.

  5. If you think you will be too cold with just skiing pants, wear a pair of thermals. You can buy them pretty cheap, and they are a thin layer that goes right next to your skin.

  6. I wear hiking pants underneath. The kind of pants that wick sweat and dry quickly. They are light weight and loose fitting.

Jeans are actually probably the worse thing you could wear.

  7. Jeans are ill-advised. Go with something not cotton, it traps moisture be it sweat or melted snow.

Get some moisture-wicking long underwear to wear under them.
