How do i dry gladiolias?

i have many color full gladiolas how do i dry them?

I let mine dry on the stalk, have collected the dried blossoms, and shall attempt to make ink out of them (burgundy) -- any suggestions for ink making are welcome.

You could press new blossoms between wax paper and heavy books (bricks, whatever) like my Gram used to do with flowers.

You could dip them in molten wax while in bloom to preserve them like the Victorians did.

Cut and hang upside down as all cultures do to dry herbs and flowers.

Think I read about using a specific chemical *dag, where's Spyt when you need her* grrrr, when I can't remember which junk drawer in my brain I put that tidbit.
