  1. I'm young and I know when I s***w up....It's BAD!  So start helping out more with chores, get good grades, STAY OUT OF TROUBLE, give an effort, and be nice to your parent's!

  2. Be trust worthy. Do what you say you are going to do. Don't lie. Be respectful and don't argue if your parents say no to something. Understand that some issues are not about trust, such as house rules and curfews. It is your parents job to keep you safe and sometimes that means saying no. If you messed up in the past admit it and try to stay out of trouble.

  3. start small and work your way up

  4. Show them you have common sense and respect them. Don't stand there and argue when you know their mind is made up. Ask them what you can do to show them you will abide by their values even when they aren't with you and no one would know. Do your chores without whining.

Here is the biggie in my book: Don't ask them to approve of something you know darn well they will never agree to. If you know they feel that strongly about something then you should know they have good reasons and won't back down. You will just annoy the heck out of them.

  5. Maybe you could discuss it with your parents and ask them what you can do to make them trust you more; or at least find out why they don't trust you.  This could give you something to work on to gain their trust

  6. do things to make them trust you. tell them where you are going and who you will be with and when u'll be back and never be late. spend quality time with them, and talk to them. if they know u'r smart then they will trust you... it'll take time cuz there's so much negativity out there 0 they just want to protect you.

  7. show them your responsible and if they never believe u then so be it, sneak out at night after curfew steal cars and drink booze and end up in jail then prove them right for not trusting you
