How do i edit my yahoo profile? The other answers here didn't help.?

I am trying to edit/update my yahoo profile information. I cannot do it at the group where I am a member. In fact, I belong to several groups and tried it at a number of them and it wasn't even a possibility to do that. I've done a search everywhere I can think of. I am sure it is quite easy, just can't seem to find the answer. Can you please help? thanks

You have to load the page with your profile to be able to change it.  Find a message that you sent in the Messages list of one of your Yahoo Groups.  Click on your login name under the Yahoo ID column on the line with your message.  This will show your profile.  Then click on Edit Profile Information (near the top middle of the screen).  Make the desired changes, then click the Save Changes button in the lower-right-hand corner.

At the top of your IM screen, click on Messenger and go down that list.  If it isn't there try preferences or the log on screen sometimes has it.  Not on my computer right now, am at work or could go more in depth.  But will check when I get home in the morning.
