  1. follow the manual or search on the web

  2. Not sure which pump you have but you either put it to backwash or waste.  Either will do the same thing.

  3. if you have a multiport valve on your filter and your filter is a de filter you might have a setting called waste. if you do you can use that setting !

make sure your pump is off  press down on the handle rotate to waste let off the handle. turn pump on !

make sure you do not get water below the skimmer. if you do you might harm your pump !

if you have a   3 way valve on front of the pump you can turn the handle to  shut off the skimmer and drain some water out that way

  4. best answer DR, shut the power off at the pump/motor, and simply turn the vario/valve to back wash or waste .... depending on how much water you want to remove........The real question is ... WHY?  ... The water is already in the pool,  probably to the top from rain, am I correct?  The water will evaporate,  I'd be more concerned with the Chlorine(1-3 ppm)..the Ph should be at 7.2--7.6 don't worry if it's 7.8.. The Alkalinityat 80-120 ppm and the Calcium Hardness at 200-400 ppm..  Trust me .. it's not like overfilling an above ground pool ... your inground pool can handle it  (the ground is pushing back on the sides)

  5. take your water hose, submergge the '' whole hose'' in the pool , hold it underwater and work it until all the air is out of the hose. put the palm of your hand over 1 end of the hose while the whols hose is still underwater, pull the end out (the end with your palm over the end),of the pool and set it on the ground , lf it doesn't work , lt still has air in it' try again
