How do i enable addon on firefox?

Question

i have firefox3.. my addons are not showing up on the browers.. i have a tab button which isnt showing up, and i.e. button to load web pages in i.e. , adblock plus working.. its not blocking ads

If i go to addons through tools the addons say they are enabled as the buttons will only allow me disable them..

How can i enable them?

Try reinstalling Firefox and start of new profile.

With Add-Ons which formally appeared on the taskbar in Firefox 2, I found that after installing Firefox 3, they were no longer there. But if you right-click a blank area on the top taskbar and click Customize, you will find the icons for those Add-Ons there. Simply click them one at a time and while holding down the left-click button, drag the icon to where you want it on the taskbar. Also while you are viewing your Add-ons, click the Update button at the bottom to download any updates compatible with Firefox 3. Pay attention to the text on some of your Add-Ons and some may state that it is not compatible with Firefox 3.
