  1. go to tools, internet options, general, browsing history, then delete.

  2. Re install  windows is a complete way to clear everythíng,

This I would recommend if their are things on your  hard drive that you don´t want people to find

but I would recommend you also look into "PARTITIONING DRIVES".

If you are really concerned about the things on your hard drive that you don´t ever want to be discovered then do a complete re installation of windows .

You may also see an improvement in the performance of your PC. As it gets rid of all the junk that is left on their from installing then uninstalling applications

  3. ok at the top of ur page now. click tools. skip down to internet options click and u will see clear cookies etc and history. just click and its gone.

  4. Eraser v5.82

Eraser is a great advanced security tool which allows you to completely remove sensitive data from your hard drive by overwriting it several times with carefully selected patterns. The patterns used for overwriting are based on Peter Gutmann's paper "Secure Deletion of Data from Magnetic and Solid-State Memory" and are selected to effectively remove the magnetic remnants from the hard disk making it impossible to recover the data. Other methods include one defined in the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual of the US Department of Defence and overwriting with pseudorandom data. You can also define your own overwriting methods.

  5. People know this answer all too well. If it's really bad, just destroy your hard-drive, that's the only way the forensics will not find evidence incriminate. Oh wait, it's not a snuff movie you illegally downloaded, just a bit of p**n and it's your dad's PC? Easy, just listen to the above answers, unless he works for Scotland Yard as an I.T. analyst...

  6. Ctrl+H
