  1. Hi, you can try this: Pavtube DVD Copy which can help you to copy DVD to a blank DVD or the hard drive of your PC, removing the copyright protections and meet your need. As for the problem that you met, it can auto erase the DVD and Get it here:

    Guide for copying.

    1. choose the copying sourse.

    2. select the copying target.

    3. choose the copy mode if you like.

    4. click "Run" button to start copying.

  3. you really dont have to erase it just record over it.
