sorry if i didnt help much but thats how i see it, even though percentages can go over 100% SOMETIMES but im assuming she hasnt gotten there yet

  2. 1.  To change a percent to a decimal, divide by 100

    2.  To change a percent to a fraction , put it over 100 and reduce if possible

    3. When you see the percent , putit over 100

    4/100 times 17/1 = ........425

    4.   30/40 times 100 = .......75

    5.    12/100  times  10000/1 =  1, 200  s0 you would have to pay back

the $10000.  plus the $1200. of interest. which equals $11,200
