How do i export a video (MSWMM) in to WMV ? ?

i'm using windows movie maker and i want to post a video on youtube . so when i go to upload the video it says that my video is too small and that i have to export in WMV .. i have no idea how to do that . ! I don't know if any of you understand what i'm asking .. i just can't find a better way to explain it . can anyone help me please ?

  1. Windows Movie Maker is confusing to some people when it comes time to save your edited movie.

    You are probably uploading the project data file instead of the movie.  Pressing Save updates the project data file.  It does not save the movie.  If you are trying to save your movie and it take a second or less to save, then you are saving the project data and not the movie file.

    To export a movie in WMM, You need to use Export Movie or Save Movie As.  You will know you are doing this correctly if it takes a long time to save (usually a few minutes).  You will also know you are doing it correctly if the systems asks if you want to save the movie in a format such as WMV, AVI, or MP4 .  The default setting is WMV.


  2. In MovieMaker, under "File" look for "Save As" or Export and follow the dialog boxes to render the WMV (or .AVI) file type creation...
