How do i export contacts from outlook to my new Blackberry?

i have got a new blackberry and want to move all of the contacts from my Outlook address book onto it, but it doesnt seem to let me using the blackberry desktop manager

Make sure you have Outlook setup as your source for syncing. Make sure you have the items you want synced "checked" in the configuration.

If that doesn't work...
