How do i export my movie to .WMV format?

i want to put a video on youtube but i dont know how to change the format

I have ever put WMV and MP4 format on to youtube, I prefer to WMV , because it could get a better quality.

You can try this video converter  for such conversion,

You can make it alot simpler on you by installing a free video converter that can easily be found on google.

what i personally use and would recomend to others is a program called "Free Studio 2.2"

It can be safely installed by going to www.dvdvideosoft.com

you could use the other 2 answers or you could use it my way , well , if you use windows movie maker , open the video into the timeline and save the movie to ur com , then after it saves you will be aable to upload it

YouTube uses the native H264 format, which is usually in an .MP4 container. WMV will only make your life harder.

Not to mention it's an abysmal format anyway. Evil Windows proprietary video containers...
