  1. (a^2)^3

    = a^(2 * 3) (* = multiply)

    = a^6

    = a * a * a * a * a * a

  2. dunno about factoring, but you can change that to a^6. if its an exponent to an exponent you just multiply them together

    (x^n)^m=x^(n*m)

    make it a good day

  3. a^6

  4. That becomes a to the sixth power.  Remember you multiply the powers in this instance.  So the factors of this formula would be

    a x a x a x a x a x a  = (a>2)>3

  5. (a^2)^3

    = (a^2) × (a^2) ×(a^2)

    = a × a × a × a × a × a
