  1. I usually use zuccini instead of cucumber but they both float so I use the weights that come with live bunch plants to keep it on the bottom. But be aware that I believe that they are made of lead & you should always take care when handling it because it is toxic. Also they actually sell special veggie clips for this purpose @ pets mart & other aquarium retailers even walmart.

  2. i heard that some people feed there pelcos avocado

  3. I never fed cucumber nor have i heard of it.I know they make a lettuce clip.

  4. The easiest way is to weigh it down with a plant weight.

You can buy them quite cheaply and they are really effective.

I often feed my algae eater cucumber and use plant weights to hold them down.

  5. i use plant weights - you get them in a pets store

    something like that

  6. cut a small slit through the middle and tie a string though that to something heavy, like a rock decoration.

I just saw that you can attach a clip to the veggies, maybe a metal one, or a clip with a suction cup, or even a regular weight (try a teaspoon with an elastic band to hold the veggies to it).

Remember to remove the uneaten food after 24 hrs as to not pollute your tank and the veggies will get soft and wont get eaten.

    Just found this site: http://www.screwcumber.com/

  7. Take a rubber band, and secure your cuke to a rock, or to an ornament, whatever lives at the bottom of your tank.  The veggie clips works great too, they suction onto the glass.

  8. Blanch ur cucumber...

microwave it with water for like 3 minutes and put the cucumber in ice water and wait for like 5 minutes... and after that, ittl sink in the tank... u dont need any plant weights or anything if u blanch it

  9. Dig it into the rocks...
