How do i figure out if my horse need a full or semi quarter horse bar tree saddle???

ok so i have a really "stocky" horse and i am trying to buy a barrel saddle but dont no if i should be looking for full or semi QH bars???

The best thing to do is find a tack store that will let you take a saddle on trial, that way you can be sure to get one that fits. If that isn't possible try to see if your friends or trainer will let you try some saddles on.

If theres no way to try the saddle on beforehand I would go with the full-QH bars. A too-wide saddle can be padded, a too-narrow saddle will be painful for the horse no matter what you do to it.
