  1. get a flexible measuring tape and measure your horse's girth and from his shoulder back to the point of his buttock, then multiply them together.  they also sell weight measuring tapes where you just have to measure all the way round the barrel and it's easier, but you don't have to go through all of that trouble of buying one.

  2. drive your truck and  trailor with horse on the scales, remove horse, and subtract .

  3. you can to a horse store and buy something called a weigh tape, that you put around their girth and it will tell you what they weigh but be sure that you buy a  horse tape if you have a horse or a pony tape if you have a pony if makes a difference.

  4. you can get you a measuring ape, at tsc or rual king, it will tell you your horses heigth and weight.

  5. a weight tape

  6. There are weight measuring tapes that they sell at feed/tack stores. You wrap the measuring tape around the horse's girth and it estimates the horse's weight. The most accurate way would be a livestock scale that your horse could stand on but you'd have to trailer your horse to a large animal veterinary facility for that.

  7. with a giant scale
