How do i figure out what year my Hyster forklift is?

Name plate has a serial #, capacity, just no year. not in the owners manual either.

there should be a vin tag on there somewhere

VIN's aren't the same for forklifts as they are on cars.  You won't be able to decipher it on your own.  Strange it's not in the owners manual.

Call a Hyster forklift dealer.  They should be able to tell you what year it is from the serial #.
