How do i file for a divorce???

just curious on how to go about the whole divorce thingy???

Hire yourself an expensive lawyer.

It depends on a number of things, ie. where you live, your divorce is uncontested (would your husband fight you over things), do you have children, have property to split etc.

If there are no children, no spousal alimony, no property to argue over, then you can download the appropriate state forms from the internet, fill them out and file them at your local courthouse.

If you are not sure what you are doing, it's better to hire an attorney.

If you have children or property, you need an attorney for sure. Not just to split the property fairly but to determine child support, visitation etc. as well.
