How do i fill out a 1040 to add my ssi income to get my stimulus. i printed my 1040ez the lines do not match?

  1. As Judy noted, SSI income does not qualify. If you have at least $3000 of Social Security retirement, disability, or survivors benefits, you put it on line 14A of Form 1040A.


  2. If you just have SSI income, you should be using form 1040A, not EZ which does not have a separate line item for SSI.

  3. SSI isn't qualifying income for the stimulus payment, so the short answer is "you don't"

    And SSI isn't reportable income anyway, so none of the tax form versions have a place for it.  

    Social SECURITY, which is different from SSI, is reportable, and is qualifying income for the stimulus.  They are treated differently because people getting social security (retirement or disability) qualified to get it by working a certain length of time, which isn't the case with SSI
