How do i fill out number 16 on the I-765?

Question

I have been married to a US citizen for over 8 months now and i am applying for the greencard. I have all my stuff together all i still need is to answer question 16 on the I-765 application for employment authorization...I have looked the categories up over and over again and i cannot find one that i fit into...help!!!! Am I allowed to leave that field open or will they send the papers back if I do?

Your eligibility category is (c)(9) since you are applying for your green card (a.k.a. adjustment of status, form I-485) at the same time.
