When closed the door to my apartment and the floor do not meet. This lets in a significant draft and bugs on occasion. Ive put rubber weather stipping on the bottom of the door but it keeps getting ripped up after a few days. It seems that there is no gap in the cornors of the door but more in the middle. Is there anything else i can do to fill the gaps?

  1. You can buy a stick on strip that stick to the inside of the door.Shut the door and apply it it will be fine. and easy.

  2. Get a draft stopper. You lay it against the door. If possible enter and exit via another door.

You can buy them at Wal-Mart for under $10. Here is a photo so you can see what I'm talking about...

  3. buy a better door sweep and or get a door snake

  4. Purchase a " door sweep " at any hardware store. Cut it to length, and then " scribe " the bottom edge to the contour of the floor, then attach it to the door bottom with the screws supplied.
