How do i find a paper route job near me?

Im 13 and looking for a job i thought this would be a good idea but i dont know how to find a paper route near me lol and i dont know how i would apply or anything ...any help????

Check with your local papers to see if there are any routes in your neighborhood and if not how to go about starting one.  There may already be a route since many are now done by adults in cars but there is a chance your neighborhood has not been picked up yet.  If there are more than one paper in your area you can make extra money by delivering more than one paper since many homes have both papers.  I did this as a kid for 10 years and did ok.  In fact I was the first female paper deliverer in my state.  Just remember when you are sick or need to go on vacation it will be your responsibility to find a person to deliver the papers.  It is also a great way to learn how to count back change and manage money since you will need to collect the money from customers and pay the paper company and the remainder is yours.  I was excellent in math because of the skill I learned.

In the newspaper, look up the phone number for the circulation department.  They will let you know what openings they have.
