How do i find a person that I know their name and possible state?

USApeoplesearch.com is a good place to start. Or just google people search. I have found people this way. Some of the sights are free for the first round but don't give a lot of info, but if you go to several, you can usually find who you are looking for if the name is right. You can also add free people search when you type in to search.

If he's your dad, is his name on your birth certificate? If so, check and see if his Social Security number is also there. If you can get that, the Social Security Administration will let you send a letter for him to their Letter Forwarding service. You have to follow a few guidelines, but if you have his SSN they are usually very good about finding him through his work records and tax info and getting the letter through. You can put the name and state into an internet search.

ALso you can go to a webite for a company that does background checks. Try the one in my link. I was able to find info on myself with it.
