How do i find a roommate/a place to live for college?

I'm going to move to san diego to attend ucsd soon, but i don't have a place to live. I want to find a roommate to make the rent cheaper but i.have no idea of how to go about doing so.

The school should have a resource for on and off campus housing.  Check their website.
