first curve: (x-1)^2 + (y-1)^2 = 25

  1. Solve for the value of x in terms of y for one equation (or whiever comes as a simplest form). Then put that value of "x" or "y" into the another equation. You'll find the intersection points between those two curves.

  2. You must isolate Y in the two equation.

And then, you must make the two Y equal.

    For example:((25-(x-1)^2)^2)^1/2+1=5/12x^2-1...

And therefore you can find the right answer.
