  1. Transpose the 8 and -2b so it will be

    -3b+2b=4-8

    Now simplify them by subtracting or adding

    -b=-4

    now simplify

    -b/-1=-4/-1

    now divide -4 to -1

    the answer is b=4

  2. 8-3b=4-2b

    8-3b-8=4-2b-8            subtract 8  from both sides

    -3b+2b=4-2b-8+2b      add -2b to both side

    -b=-4                         solve it then....

    -b/-1=-4/-1                  divide by -1 to both sides

    b=4                               ta-da!

    hope it helps :)

  3. 1) add 2b to the left side, and subtract 8 to the right side

        -b=-4

    2) divide by -1

        b=4

  4. 8-3b=4-2b

    -->8-4=3b-2b

    -->4=b

    therefore,b=4
