  1. if nslookup and ipconfig /all aint working you can try lookin for it in the router interface . But i guess DNS is not used if you are connected to the internet so it might no be stored on your router settings.

Most of the times the default gateway for Aztech adsl router is

192.168.1.1 (lets hope Aztech 605 uses the same)   Open you internet browser paste the default gateway ip ie

    192.168.1.1

hit enter..its going to ask for a username and password..just use admin as username and keep password as admin or password or leave blank. (try will all three) . Now you would enter your Router user interface and you can look for DNS though normally it is not stored in your router settings... If you want to set DNS server , here is how you can do that

    1. Reboot the router

    2. XP: double click on the network activity icon on the tray -> Properties -> Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) -> Properties -> Use the Following DNS servers: (select any 2 of this IP's) 202.188.0.133, 202.188.0.132, 202.188.1.5 -> OK

so this should be your in your TCP/IP settings

    IP address: 192.168.1.2

    Subnetmask: 255.255.255.0

    Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1

    Prefered DNS: 202.188.0.133

    Alternate DNS: 202.188.1.5

if these DNS dont work try Open dns.

ps hope you used nslookup and ipconfig when you where connect to the internet and where logged in with Administrator privilage

  2. The best to do is to open it's interface to configure the Aztech and look for DNS settings related thing's :)

Or, if it's already connected, try go to "command prompt"

    and type "nslookup"
