  1. put some double sided tape on the floor they will usually get stuck to it and you are able to pull it off them very easy....also you can make a trap with a three liter bottle and a pinky...cut off the top of the three liter bottle...about 4 or 5 inches down...turn it inside out...meaning stick the pouring spout inside the bottle....drop a pinky in it and tape it all the way around.....the snake will crawl in but cant crawl out...i know it would be easier if i could draw it...if you have any questions let me know.......if you know what room its in look at all the warm spots..under tv dvd player xbox whatever....they will look for heat and food.

  2. look under your frig something that has a warm part on it like the frig motor it is hot they like to wrap around any thing that is warm

  3. When my corn got out i turned off all the heat sources except a heat lamp and i put a mouse on a plate in the middle of the room next to the heat lamp. I then went to turn the lights off so the room could cool down more. I went back every couple of miniutes to see it he was eating the mouse and if he was he wont go as fast. I came to check one time and he was on the plate eating

  4. Wow that sucks.  When we got our baby kingsnake that was my worst nightmare losing him because they are so small.  Don't forget the possibility of the snake going under the door...just because he got loose in one room doesn't mean he stayed in that room.  The best places to look are under the fridge and stove (they like the heat) also in the clothes hamper under piles of clothes.  Don’t forget they can climb…look on table legs in room corners in closets…look in shoes.  If you have hardwood or vinyl floors you could put a row of flour down at doorways and such, if the snake crosses the flour it will trail…you will at least be able to tell which way the snake went.  A friend of ours found his ball python in a bag of substrate that he had bought…there was a hole that the snake went in through.  It will show up eventually.  We had one ball python that used to get out and go up under a table (there was a “shelf” under the table where the snake liked to go.  Another ball python got out and went into the couch cushions…another time he got out and just went exploring.  Another ball python got out and went behind a large blanket chest.  Another ball python got out and she was gone for about 3 weeks then one night we heard a crash and went to investigate and she was on top of the table going toward her “house”.  Lets see…we had a blood python that got out and crawled up on top of the ball python cage another blood got out and went under his cage.  Our kingsnake got out and we found her in a dresser drawer.  The point is we have had lots of escapes and none of them were permanently lost…snakes are crazy.

  5. lol looks like you need a better cage...

just put some food out in a live trap, you should call your local animal control center and tell them about your story and im sure they can help.
