How do i find my girlfriends ring size?

I want to get her a promise ring, but want it to be a surprise. How do i find out her ring size without her suspecting im getting her a ring?

You can also have her mother/sister/roommate "borrow" one of her rings that she wears, if she has one.  You can take it to the store then, and they can size it for you.

If you want to be really sneaky, next time you go out somewhere like a supermarket, stop at those little vending machines and get her a couple of stickers just to be silly, and get her one of those little gumball rings. Have her put it on and adjust it to her size, and then swipe it later without her noticing. You can probably take it in to the jewelers and they'll measure it off of that.

Honestly might be your only choice, seeing as she's not likely to have it written down somewhere. I don't even know mine, personally.
