you need to pause everything around you...think about what is going on that doesnt make you happy, and try and change that, find the things that do make you happy and focus on that...if you feel lost....just stop and rewind to when you knew where you were going in life...does that make sense ?

You probably don't need to find yourself, you aren't lost! What you might want to try is some techniques to change the way your mind processes information. This technique I'm talking about is called NLP and you can read up about it here
