  1. 12hp or 27hp with the wire cut from the cdi unit....

  2. If it's UK learner legal spec, it will be restricted to less than 14.6bhp (11kW)

Aprilia usually also supply 'full power' versions at 16kW (about 21bhp)

  3. Take your model and google it.

  4. 1000cc is equivelent to one horse power

500cc  is equivelent to 1/2 a horse power

so your 125cc is approx 1/4 horse power. (That is the power of a horse)

    Not sure about bhp.............

  5. 15 HP at 9500 rpm (125); 21.2 HP at 8500 rpm (250)

  6. Low, very low.

And why? It will not make it any faster.

You'd be lucky to have 20-25 horse power, real lucky.

  7. brake horse power refers to the engines power output before the quite considerable losses in the gearbox, final drive etc ..Its therefore a pretty pointless measure on road vehicles!

  8. Find out the engine number and google it for the info.

Depending on which engine is in the bike, it may be 33bhp as standard and then electronically resrticted to comply with the UK learner laws.

This can be de-restricted easily as connecting a plug under your seat.

This happened to a friend of mine who bought a 125 Tuono a few years ago. While collecting the bike she was shown which plug that she "shouldn't touch" and a fedw minutes later her boyfriend activated full power on her bike.
