How do i find out about HUD house and foreclosed home in my city free of charge?

  1. The county clerk of records in your particular county has to maintain a list of foreclosure and pre foreclosure properties. Sometimes this info is available on the web. sometimes you have to go in person. The local news paper also has info about foreclosed properties coming up for auction.

Below is the link from hud for each state.  Click through to your state and all homes in that state can be viewed by city/ county.  If there are any available in your city you can view them.  Bear in mind that the available homes are updated on Friday and bids are due Sunday at midnight, so check any time during the weekend to view new homes each week.  Some listings may get added mid-week too, but most are usually added on Fridays.
