How do i find out if my future company name already exists.?

im about to start and need to know where and how i can claim a company name and see if someone else has the same company name.

try to google it!

check with your country's bureau of business or something like that.  they usually have a list of all legal companies in the country.  or you can search online.

Start by checking to see if the domain name is taken. Go to an Australian registration site like this:

http://www.domainregistration.com.au/

and search your proposed name...if it's taken, safe to say you're out of luck. If not, grab it!
