How do i find out if your adopted?

is it possible other than seeing adoption papers?

is there anything i can look up online?

take their hair from their hair brush and yours from your hair brush, make sure they are labeled, and then contact a DNA lab

No DNA lab is going to test you without your parent's permission.  Plus the cost is probably more than you can afford.

It's a common fantasy for children your age to think they must be adopted because you're not "like" them.  You feel different.  You don't see any common physical traits that the rest of them have, but you don't.

You fantasize that you are adopted and that one day your real parents *perfect* will come and rescue you from this nightmare.

Birth certificates are not public record.  Neither are adoption papers.

What's wrong with just asking them?

u can not get a DNA test with out them knowing couse thay will swab ur parents u have now.. plus it cost alot of money..

being that u are a minor there is no way to know unless u see the papers ur parents have or ask them.. what makes u think ur adopted

you can get a piece of their hair and a piece of your hair (in separate labeled bags) and send them in to somewhere (maybe look up the places online) and then the place will send u a document through the mail telling whether the DNA is a match (it probably will cost a lot of money)
