  1. Since you didn't give the make/model, can't give you specifics.  Try going to the mfgr website support area for your router and find what the default is.

If it's been changed from the default, you won't be able to get in without setting the router back to "as delivered".

  2. wait i got to laught at this one, lol, that is the lamest  way of trying to figure out how to hack a router, well if it is legit i'll help you out, in case you lost the manual then all you need to do is access the administrator website ( most routers have this ) and access wireless there your able to reset the password or see it depending on how it works, the other way is to look at the router itself the older models have it there. good luck

  3. Brand and Model Pls. you can also Refer to your Manual and usually they have it in there,

If your using linksys its admin username and admins password

  4. open a web browser and typ 192.168.2.1 and type admin as the password. click the ireless security and there you o. YW!

  5. It should say it under neath the router or some where on it it should be something like. User name :Admin   Pasword:Admin

  6. You're trying to connect to YOUR router?  Or your neighbor's? 'Cuz that's illegal. If you've bought a new router and don't know what the preset is, normally it's username: admin password: ::leave blank:: But this seems fishy to me...

Added: If it's your uncle's router you'll just need to ask him for the password. That simple. I don't know what you think anyone on Y!A can do for you.
