How do i find out the pressure of non standard wheels/tyres for the vehicle they are on?

i have a fiat punto the tyre size i have are 165/55/R15V

which is a 1.2 75ELX vehicle these are not the standeard wheels/tyres for this vehicle. Could anyone advise on the pressure for these wheels thanx.

  1. Depends on vehicle weight and tires.    Check with a good dealer in your area.


  2. Use this as a guide, 185/65R-14 the recommended air pressure is 28 psi.

    Plus one size is 195/55R-15 with a recommended air pressure of 32 psi.

    Plus two size is 205/45R-16 with a recommended air pressure of 36 psi. Note how the air pressure increases with plus sizing to meet the load carrying capacity for the car.

  3. The tire pressure is dependent on the vehicle weight, it is not dependent on tire size. The tire pressures listed for the stock tires still apply.
