How do i find out what lenght outboard shaft lenght i need for my boat?

my boat is a 14'x36'' alumnium duracraft. i am not sure if i need a 20'' or 15'' shaft

  1. Measure the hight of the transome in the middle, that will tell you what size you need. I'm betting it will be a short shaft. 15 inch.
