fone around the suppliers and see if ne of them have ur house details on file be aware they try not sell u nething. but if u bought house or rent houe didnt u get a list of suppliers and fone numbers because we did.

You can find your Gas supplier by ringing the Transco Helpline 0870 608 1524 You can find out who your Electricity supplier is by contacting your local electricity distribution company. If you are not sure who the company is then contact energywatch or look on www.gas.org.uk for gas and www.electricity-guide.org.uk for electricity.

If you've just moved in, the previous people should have paid final bills and had the power cut off.

If they haven't, ask them!!!

And if its a rented property - ask the landlord!
