  1. If you have her first and last name, you might be able to go to the TOTALLY 100% FREE website to find US LIVING relatives at PeopleData.com and it will give you information on people who share your last name with names, addresses and in some cases, even phone numbers.  One thing you might be able to do is to try to contact other people with the same last name and see if they know her or her whereabouts.

The only TWO problems you might run into is that in some cases, the info may be old and slightly dated (it does list the date of the info in some cases) and the other problem is that maybe she may have married and might have a new last name <and unfortunately, this site doesn't have a linked site to new and current info>.

    Good Luck.

  2. Hello CJ.

First, you need to know that nothing is entirely free. You may find many websites that offer "free searches", and yes, the searches are free, but they won't give you the results unless you pay a fee that ranges $29.99 to $60.00.

There are some non profit organizations that can probably help  you to find the person you are looking for, for a much lower fee. However, if your search is based on a Humanitarian Emergency (because someone is in a hospital or died) the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army can be both good alternatives for you to contact.

  3. try zaba

  4. Goggle the name you have and look in areas like the northeast USA that she might be living in. Also if you have a name for one of her parents go from that angle.

  5. You could try www.zabasearch.com I believe the initial search is free.

    Hope this helps.

  6. Have you tried placing an ad on Craigslist in some of the major NW cities?  It would be free search and if that person doesn't answer you, someone else may give you some additional clues.

  7. There's a very good article at eHow showing you how to search for people online:

How to Find Someone for Free

I'd suggest following the instructions it gives, and if nothing turns up, then using the links to additional resources for more in-depth searching.

    Good luck.
