http://www.v1g.org has a database of all arrest records, incarceration records, and a ton of others relating to the prison system. Odds are whatever you need to find out about the person, the site will help you do so.

If they are in a county jail, simply look up the judicial records for that county on their website.  If you think they are in prison, look them up on the Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice Website.
