How do i find someone that has stayed away from our family?

my cousin has stayed away from my family for personal reasons. last time i seen her i was only 5 y.o. rumor is she may be a lawyer and so far that has not panned out since she may have changed her name or has been married. she would be 61 y.o. approx. anyone out there have had a same situation?
