How do i find someone who should be paying child support?

My son is 17 months old, he has never met his dad he got scared and left the province (B.C) when I was pregnant. I have had to do everything on my own and think It's our responsibility not just mine. I was wondering what do I do to help find him so he can pay child-support because now I'm stuck on social assistance.

Here are the steps that I use when locating someone.

Also go to www.youtube.com ,and type a search for BOTH ,his name and How to Find Someone

Do you know:

1.) His social security number ?

2.) Where his parents, siblings,or any relatives live, or their names ?

3.) Where he has worked in the past ?

4.) Have your searched his name online ?

5.) Do you know any of his friends ?

6.) Do you know the names of any of his ex girlfriends ?

7.) Do you know where he went to school ?

8.) Do you where he used to hang out or frequent ? ie; bars,gym ,restaurants,coffee shops.

9.) Do an online search for his Driver's License information .

10.) Do you know the names of the Doctors or Dentists he has gone to ?

11.) Do you know Where or Who has done any Auto repairs/maintenance on his vehicle ?

12.) Did he buy his vehicle from a friend that you met ?

13.) What is his occupation or what are his job skills   ?

I know that you are having a difficult time.

It's such ashame ,that the father is such a coward.

all you have to do is tell the social his name and address thats if you no it and they will hunt him down

its so easy to do.

Find a private detective.  They usually have resources to track someone down.  There are even services on the internet that help find people.  Not sure how reliable they are.

There are companies out there that might be of some type of help...

If it was a one night stand and you know nothing about the person your kinda bet.... If you know some of his family information and his you might have a chance...
