How do i find the name of the director of a company without paying to get the information?

For public companies, you can go to their website, and click on "investor relations".  If they don't list it somewhere there, you can probably find a link to their annual reports or proxy statements.  Directors and officers are always reported in the annual reports.  In the US, you can also go to the SEC EDGAR website, where all filings from public companies are stored.


  2. if it is a publicly held company, request a portfolio for the company. it will list all the officers

  5. You shouldn't ever have to pay for that type of information. It should be a matter of public record.

    Just go to the company's Web site and click on the "corporate" or "about us" or "contact us" buttons. That should provide you with a list of the people who run the company.
