How do i find the password for my ip address?

i really need help with this because i cant even play certain games on xbox live and those games are my best games (gta 4) i know my ip address but i dont know my password.

most of the time you can just call your Internet provider for example if you have your Internet set up with your phone just call your phone company and they can normally give you your IP address if you do not know your password they may be able to get it for you or replace it after some security questions.  Hope this works.

You say "Certain games" which indicates (to me) that some games work, while others do not, and you feel that perhaps altering your router (The device that currently holds your public IP) may have an effect on the game.

As stated, your IP has no password assigned to it, it is dynamically assigned based on whoever owns that block of IPs (Your Internet Service Provider usually)

I think you should start by telling us what IP are you trying to access. If it starts with a 192.168. or 10. your trying to get access to your router. You may need to forward additional ports. Please see this KB for more information: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/908874

Sorry Friend your question does not make any sense, once you have Internet access, there is no need for the password, besides the IP address does not have a password the password is for the account or for the router that handles the account, there is no such thing as an IP with password.
