  1. Perfect solution....You need to carefully tear out the outer cone from the edge of the speaker to the inner cone. If the inner cone is missinf you can simply find any coneshaped object to replace it, now get last weeks sunday paper, cause you will need a lot, and a bottle of elmers glue. In small peices glue sections of the news paperabout 3-4 inches wide from the outer edge of the speaker to the inner cone, { if you are using the original cone, or one that you found or made, bring the newspaper to just over the outer edge of the inner or smaller cone. Repeat this until you now have a larger or outer cone made of newspaper, if the paper overlaps itself it's ok. Now let the new cone dry. Next use a brush and spread a heavy even coat of glue all over the newspaper, exept 1 inch from the rim all the way around the top of the speaker{ this lets the speaker flex when it plays bass notes}, the softer you make this area of the speaker the heavier the bass it will produce. add another layer of paper, and another layer of glue, and repeat it 4-5 times or as many as you like. The stronger you make the cone, the more harder it will play. Sometimes these rebuilds can perform better than the high dollar speakers!!!  Go ahead, youll be proud of yourself!!!

  2. Tape it together?... your kidding right?...

You need to replace it my friend, sorry to break the news to you...

  3. Subs have to be somewhat air-tight to work. Tape wouldn't work.

  4. No, you replace them.

    Good Luck...

  5. no, you have to buy a new one, once a speaker is blown, its gone for good.
