How do i fix broken vhs?

hello im 13 years old and im wondering can you fix a vhs for me

it is my moms wedding video and i rewinded it and when i played it it didnt play anymore what happen?

Have you tried putting the tape in the VCR forward it right to the end. Then rewind the tape  and then press play. Also lift the flap on the VHS tape to see if the tape is damaged.
