How do i fix flash player problem?

Question

Whenever i open "www.cnet.com" and i try to view the video review of any product-a message comes and says that -

"We’ve detected that you need to upgrade or install Flash 8 or later to view our library of thousands of tech videos. Installing Flash is fast, free, and easy! Simply follow the instructions from your browser, or click here to install/upgrade the free Flash player."

I've installed the flash player from the link provided and also from many other sources,still i am unable to view any video review.

What do i do to fix this problem ?

This is the latest one, but I have the feeling, that you might need these troubleshooting sites to fix the problem. Every day there are several askers with the same problem, Adobe does not seem to like us
