Whenever i connect a usb to the hard drive, it comes up with a bubble saying "USB Device Not Recognized." I've restarted many times and shut down, i also tried to use the mother board disk and re-install the drivers but it always pops up with notepad listing sites for upgrades. I recently checked for upgrades and I don't need any.

  3. What USB? Unless we know what is being connected we can not help.

  4. Hi , This has happened to me (on several occasions with flash/ memory sticks) and it has always transpired that the device is dead or unuseable. You could try checking the device by using another computer and seeing if that works but i suspect as i stated above that it is dead and the only solution is to replace it

  5. got to the manufacture of the hard drive, web sight and look for its driver. its the drives problem not the usb

  6. YOUR USB IS NOT READABLE TRY ON DIFERENT

PC IF NOT USE A THIRD PARTY RECOVERY SOFTWARE

    TO RECOVER DATA ON IT

    AND THEN REFORMAT THE USB

IS NOT YOUR PC IS USB DRIVE....GOOD LUCK
