How do i fix my breast stroke leg!?! please help!?

my left leg does a side stroke kick and my right does a proper frog kick i know how its sopposed to look and my coach has shown me how my legs go out of the water but my legs just wont do it in the water!!!

  1. Make sure your not pointing you toes. If you are it can make it harder to do a proper stroke. That's what happened for me, and as soon as i corrected it made me a whole lot better. You could also try swimming a couple breaststroke kicks with your head above the water to really concentrate on what your doing. If can be frustrating sometimes, but when you do it, it's great!

    kick your bum, push out and fast recovery.

    and try just working on the one leg for now

  3. You could try using a pull buoy between your legs while just working on you kick with a kick board.  Just kick like you would without the buoy.  If you keep hold of the buoy than its at least improving somewhat and from there you can get the feel of it.
